I keep being asked to provide iPhone screen-shots as no one else
has a Mac to install the SDK on. The iPhone WebApp doc is really
good ... if only all mobile browsers had this kind of docs, life
would be a lot easier.
I wonder how many Macs have been bought just to run the SDK on

Well, I would like to get a mac myself, since I think they have
really good hardware (better then the Asus I currently use). In the
office we have a "we don't care, whatever gets the job done"
policy. Currently we have mostly windows, 2 macs, and one true
linux hacker.
We currently have a central purchasing process and so it a
choice of big dell laptop or light dell laptop. I just use my
personal laptop instead as it's more productive.

conincidence, i've literally just ordered a mac mini to install the SDK on as we're all PC's in our office.
